Once Mario does said request and returns, the Elder will tell him that he's actually Yaridovich, a member of the Smithy Gang who tells Mario that his research of stars has worried Smithy, then blackmails him into giving up the star. Once Mario visits the Elder, he explains that he's in need of the fifth Star Piece. They tell Mario to talk to Elder due to him needing help. When Mario enters Seaside Town, he is approached by a bunch of blue Toads (if he enters the shop and buys stuff). ![]()
